An account keeps your portfolio with you across devices, unlocks the free market-data feed in the desktop app, and is where Pro lives. You can also keep using Fortunest as a guest — nothing here is required.
Everything outside Pro is free and needs no account. You can change your plan at any time.
Your @handle is how friends find you in the Social tab. Lowercase letters, digits and underscores, 3–24 characters. You can set or change it later.
A recovery code works here too.

We emailed a one-click confirmation link when this account was created. Everything works either way — but until the address is confirmed, the free assistant budget stays the size a signed-out visitor gets, instead of the doubled one an account is worth.

The desktop app can sign in with your email and password directly. A licence token is the alternative for the accounts that cannot: one with two-step verification on, or one that only has a Google sign-in. Paste it into the app under Manage account — the bust icon in the topbar, beside the ⚙ — in the Licence section.
Changing it signs every other device out. This one stays signed in.
